Everyone after hilt

Toffees boss David Moyes will look to snap up unhappy Norwich City forward Grant Holt this summer. The Everton manager, once again having to operate within a strict transfer budget, hopes to lure the Canaries marksman as he looks to beef up his attacking options.

Holt signaled his intentions to leave Norwich City last month and the departure of Paul Lambert as Carrow Road boss has merely increased speculation about the 31 year old's future.

Moyes will make an opening ?6m bid for the former Nottingham Forest man and will hope that Chris Hughton will relent and allow Holt to leave Norwich City for a move to Merseyside. Clearly the East Anglian side would be loathed to lose a striker who has netted 70 goals in 116 starts since his ?400k move from Shrewsbury back in July 2009.
