Yes he has managed before. He was the youngest ever manger aged 29 at Bristol Rovers for 2 years. They finished 5th and 6th.

He still holds the record for their highest average points gained per game, above the likes of Ian Holloway.

In fact, Ian Holloway and Tony Pulis were in his team, and they played brilliant passing football.

Williams then joined Norwich as a player. He has been assistant manager at Norwich, coach at Leeds and Man Utd, and took charge of the Wales team for 1 game.
