What the hell is the matter with ashton? Even Daryl Sutch wasn't THIS dedicated to the cause - first he signs a contract extension basically ruling him out of a move to spurs or newcastle at the beginning of the season. Then he goes and plays 90 minutes with a fractured skull, and insists on trying to play (with no mask) in the next match too. He is the only player who actually seems to chase the ball and want to score goals, but still goes and apologises after every match, saying that he's let everyone down.
ffs, i'm starting to think he's two sandwiches short of a picnic. Oh for the moderated, rational motivation levels of Keith O'Neill and Damien Francis.
