Worthy was never the best thing since sliced bread

He just had a board that splashed out enough cash to buy us a promotion. On your argument we can never get rid of anyone once they've had any success whatsoever. It isn't knee-jerk - lots of people have been saying then same things for over a year. Maybe he's gone stale, maybe he's lost it, maybe he never had it and just got lucky. It's hard to say for sure but the balance of teh squad HE has created (only one holding midfielder when he considers it essential to play one, not one proper wide right midfielder, barely a proper left sided one) is totally inexcusable. I haven't seen a manger make consistently worse decisions over a 12 month plus period than Worthy has in my 30 years of going to Carrow Road. The only goo done was buying Ashton, but he has diminished that by treating him as a bog-standard "big" striker who he can continually lob high balls at (which he didn't get at Crewe)
