Coaching Staff
It seems to me that all the anger at the moment is being directed at NW. Whilst this is understandable, I think that a certain amount of the blame also has to lay at the feet of our fleet of coaches. For christs sake, we have Livermore, Foley and Webb, surely one of them can see what is going wrong. Is the problem really that these are all "yes" men? If so, lets get them off the payroll. Anyone I know would be pleased to be paid well for job that basically involved licking arse.
It is fresh ideas that need putting in, and if they are not being listened to by NW, then the coaches must be on the gravy train to be hanging around.
NW is one of the most highly qualified managers in the country, so I find it hard to take that all the blame lies at his feet. Having said this, he must take the lions share of it and hard and fast decisions, both on and off the pitch, need to be made by the manager soon.
I think that the main problem that rears its head in the view of the fans on this site is team selection, for instance why is Simon Charlton being preferred to Jason Jarrett? Surely, one our esteemed coaches should pipe up with a revolutionary idea of putting a specialist central midfielder in the centre of the midfield.
Or is the problem that the manager doesn't listen to anyone elses' views or expects everyone to agree with his opinions? If so, our coaches are being well paid for doing very little.
An alternative view, but hopefully a little thought provoking!
