If the board decide Worthington is to be sacked it has to be done now. This will leave them a month to get a new manager before the start of December.

Why the start of December? The new man will need at least a month to work with the squad prior to the transfer window , which starts January1st. There?s bound to be speculation about our better players, Ashton, Greeno & Safri, and they are not likely to stick around if were are still in the s**t at the turn of the year.

Oh and another thing ? I suspect that no-one trusts Worthington to spend our transfer kitty, with his recent record on getting in new players.
