it was something that was always likely to happen. By the end of the season we had no solidity in midfield whatsoever (two of the four being lazy glory0hunbters in Hucks and Bentley and another being Francis who by then appeared to have lost interest a bit or got knackered from carrying the midfield all season). So against Fulham we had one proper midfielder (Safri, who got injured early and the utterly useless Holt came on) against their 5 quality midfielders. We had already let in 3 at Palace and 4 at Saints in our previous 2 away games and Fulham were considerablt better than them. There's no mystery to the Fulham game - if you put out a team with no solidity at all at its core results like that are always possible.
