This is what I've picked up form Newcastle and Birmingham fans

He took over 2 clubs when they were in crisis and led one to Promotion and heading to solid Premier League finish before being sacked (which most Newcastle fans still think was unfair)

and led the other in the midst of massive turmoil and a current transfer embargo to near promotion.

He's done a good job, and is quite tactically astute, will change formations regularly.

The most common criticism seems to be that he doesn't make subs til too late - coming from both Newcastle and Birmingham fans.

Others also say that with Birmingham they didn't show up for some big games, and for Newcastle they did great against the hardest opposition (beat Arsenal) but sometimes struggled against teams they should have beat.

At Norwich, he'll be taking over a club who aren't in crisis - it will be interesting to see how he responds to the challenge
