The sheer arrogance of Holt's agent has really got to me

The "we just didn't think that was right" in response to being told there's other players to sort out first in particular.

What are you shocked about? We have players out of contract including a real club legend in Drury and that t**t thinks we should talk to Grant first? Do one. Someone with 2 years left of their deal is rightly one of the last people you'll talk to about a new deal.

This whole debacle has made it look like he's our best player and should be paid as such - why should he get more money than Pilkington or Howson, for example? Their asset value is significantly more than Holt's and I've seen nothing this year to suggest Holt is a better or more valuable player to us than Wes, Pilks or Ruddy but you don't hear them whinging do you?

He can f**k off to West Ham - he won't get a big move anywhere.
