You can't really blame Lambert
He has delivered our 7 year plan within 3 years. The 7 year plan must have had a cash-flow forecast and in the 3 years he has been here we must have well over achieved those expectations and bank repayment commitments. As a result to ask the board for more money in the transfer kitty seems fair enough to me. After all that's the reason he has left.
If we have gone down the prudence > ambition route (i.e. let's repay the debt sooner coz we're now a premiership club) there is no wonder he has gone. Any logical person other than a fan would have done. I wish him well.
