What determines if a club is a "big club"
It really is subjective.
Is it their history? Huddersfield have 3 titles on their CV but are they considered big?
Is it their current league status? Do people think Wigan are bigger than Leeds?
Is it money? Do people think QPR are bigger than Nottm Forest?
Are big clubs always big? When I was young Sheffield Wednesday were at least the equal of Everton, Chelsea and Villa, are they still?
Is it the population of their catchment area? Bristol or Bradford would suggest not.
Is it ground size or attendance?
Is it potential to ever compete with the undeniably huge clubs like the top 4?
As I say; subjective. However Villa are much bigger than us.
