Hughton could be a great long term option
Malky could be okay, but doesn't have much experience in big pressure situations (unlike Hughton) and I don't want his legacy being tarnished bya spell that might be too soon for him.
Good luck to Lambert, he has been damn near perfect for us over the past three seasons. I agree with you about the lack of funding at Villa, it seems pointless for Lambert to go to a club that has a worse squad than ours and similar spending power. You could argue that Darren Bent has a massive resale value, but surely selling your best player is detrimental to the task of impoving your already paper thin, lacklustre squad?
We all knew this moment was inevitable, I'm dealing it with fairly well in all honesty, we're still in the prem so there's plenty to look forward to!
