For those of you with long memories

I have been watching City since 1972 and that was the worst, most demoralised, heads down, apathetic, given up hope, dispirited, blaming your team-mates, not taking responsibility, not competing, poor quality, hangdog, disorganised shambles I have ever seen from a Norwich side.

That was worse than Hamilton-era.

Poor team selection by Worthy. That was then made worse by some very poor performances (has anyone ever seen McVeigh play as badly as that?). There were some people with some heart and some skill (Deano, Ashton, the Doc) but dear oh dear oh dear. The team showed more energy and commitment in criticising each other than in getting stuck into QPR.

Ref had a total shocker too. We should have had two penalties in a minute at 1-0 (the diving handball by the full back from Hendo and the massive shirt-tug on Ashton from the corner which followed), which would have changed the game, but you make your own luck and we never looked like making ours.

Worthy looks like a dead man walking to me.
