He totally failed to convince me against Man U

I downloaded the game and watched it several times, and I kept thinking, "Fucking hell, how on earth did he get away with that?!"

I think the defense's new-found solidarity had more to do with having a midfielder with bite protecting them - step forward Mr Safri - and a strong lad in the centre - step forward Mr Shackell.

I don't blame Holt for his efforts - at least the poor bastard gave everything for the cause, unlike some - or Stuart, hopelessly out of position on the right. We could talk about last season for weeks and not convince each other of what was right and what was wrong (Oddly, I won't blame Worthy for Fulham either). But I think Safri made the difference.
