If he's anything like his mentor O'Neill

then he always keeps a distance from his players. Lets the coaches do most of the training (which I have heard Lambo does with Cully) and only becomes hugely involved in the immediate build up to the game.

I think Lambo is more involved day to day than O'Neill but I still don;t think he's great mates with any of the players which is presuambly why he has no qualms about chopping and changing the team.
