I don't particularly crave regular updates

I was just venturing the opinion that the line has clearly been put out there to the national press that Lambert is keen on the villa by someone connected to Lambert. Whether that's part of some tactic to up his budget here or because he's genuinely interested I don't know but I don't believe there would be so many journalists who "understand" he is keen unless someone was feeding them some lines.

The holt stuff in that story appears likely to be guesswork but I dont believe that journalist would have just made up the entire story unprompted.
