I do wish....

...that some of the quotes coming from Colney weren't said. Hughes is right that 'on paper' we have a good squad compared to most in the Championship. However such comments as 'we are the best' looks a tad stupid when you are 15th with a quarter of the season gone. Confidence is one thing, holding the club up to ridicule is another. Rather like Leon's Manure quote.
Then last season we had Saint Delia going on about "little old Norwich" being at places like Anfield and Old Trafford. What sort of message does that send? We're beaten before we start so we'll enjoy the day out before returning to non-premiership obscurity. Somehow i don't think that's the message the owner of JJB/Wigan athletic is sending to the other clubs and might partly explain why we struggled and they have made a good fist of it so far.
Perhaps the management and players should talk less and play a bit more and the we might see a more consistent set of positive results.
