We had exactly the same situation with Glenn Murray before the start of last season....
He was on 9k a week and wanted 15k. His agent pushed for this as he had scored 23 the previous season. We dug our heels in and said no.
Last season 6 goals in all competitions for Palace....... The grass isn't always greener.
