The points you're conveniently avoiding:-

1. Of course we were more interested because Holty is our player!
2. He should be in the squad because he's proved he should be (he''s a striker and he scores goals regularly, our pony-tailed friend doesn't).
3. Holt would've given his right arm to represent his country (unlike many of them) and because he scored his goals for us and not a 'big six' he didn't get selected.
