Question for London based readers
Is it not possible to buy a underground ticket between two stations
I have a oyster card my son doesnt ( despite my advice ,hes 18 he knows everything I know nothing!) , yesterday at cockfosters station he asked for a return ticket to arsenal and was charged ?8.50 and was sold a travel card , which in fairness allowed him to travel everywhere on the tube something he no plans to do
So can you buy a ticket between two stations which i would have thought would have been cheaper or was he ripped off
