Agreed - the Sun was annoying me this morning as well

Banging on about how all the players had previously tweeted in favour of redknapp but none have tweeted for Roy so he will clearly "have to win the players over."

They then printed an unbelievably unhelpful comment about how it is understood that privately the highly influencial Steven Gerrard has let it be known to his teammates that he does not hold Hodgson's abilities in high regard. What good does printing stuff like that do!

I hope Roy comes in an shoves it all back in their faces. That said I think he may need to re-think his plan to "sit John and Rio down" to try and overcome their differences. For me having both of them in the squad won't work. terry should be left out until his trial is all sorted and Hodgson would earn immediate respect if he did that.
