IMHO it is mental tiredness that is affecting the players, especially the defenders.
Thirty odd games of trying to match or get on top of players they could only sit back and admire two seasons ago must surely take it's toll eg Swansea yesterday 3-1 up to 4-4 and Blackpool last season.
The potential is there but the experience will take time.
