Just back from game
That was the worst ref since Oliver at Reading last year - But I'm sooooo annoyed that our defence didn't play to the whistle and follow Piennar rather than stand with their arms up waiting for a free-kick that never came, play to the whistle. How many times were Everton allowed to handball it?
Hoolahan in both games kept losing the ball to Felini, by running into him. Thought he was good, but lost the ball too often - Thought Howson was better.
Need a better defence, R. Bennett was great, but he needs someone else to help him, Ward isn't up to it, the marking was bad for both their goals.
We need someone who can take free-kicks! Had so many in great positions but couldn't get them past the wall so they were pointless. If they had been Everton's in those positions Baines would be at least working the keeper!
