played the second half of the Inter Milan friendly, (I know only a friendly, blah, blah!) and passed the ball, shortly, simply and intelligently, in a Safri sort of manner and did not give the ball away ONCE! He looked extremley comfortable and confident. On the basis that if you are good enough you are old enough, he should have started on Saturday. How do u think he felt when he saw a mid thirties, average at best, short arse left back bungle his way through 90 mins in a centre midfield role?
