How long is the Stoke model sustainable for?
When Wimbledon used to play like that it was because they were a mickey mouse club without any fans or real identity. As long as the results are OK will the Stoke fans put up with it forever?
It's a results business, well yes but it is also entertainment and sport. Lobbing 500 sq yds off minimum that uefa will allow for one of their matches, does that make for better entertainment or sport?
I look forward to the day their cynicism and anti-football approach comes back to bite them on the ass.
