Welbeck and Sturridge have been s**te.

Holt would have slotted home that Sturridge chance just now.

Surely he's got to get a chance in the next friendly after this!

Pearce had picked the predictable/players he's worked with at club/u21 level in the past.

He got the captaincy right though at least - makes a break from the normal group who get it when we fail!
