From what I have just read on the BBC, the Premier League do not have rights or can claim copyright of the matches themselves as they are not the creator of the games, i.e the players create and tell the story of the match by playing the game.
Highlights packages and analysis are covered by this ruling as the premier league are seen as the author and creator of such higlight packages therefore to show these is copyright
So, just switch of the tele and decoder at half time and jobs a good'un or so you would think?
I'm no legal buff so I have probably got it all worng anyway
