What happens when you spend your whole career proving you can be as good as everyone else, then when you earn about the same as everyone else and are comfortable for life, you take the foot off the gas

Unluckily for Charlton, he spent most of last season doing that for them

Recently, probably having the summer off, he's probably learnt to enjoy his footy again and knuckled down
