He Has A Bit Of The Ted MacDougall About Him

Ted looked a lazy bugger as well-every ball had to be played to his feet with minimal running required.

He frequently had a go at his team mates as well-and wasn't adverse to giving it back to the odd supporter (including my Dad on one occasion) if they shared their concerns about his lack of perceived effort with him.

He was a goal hanger who lived off the hard work and willingness to take the knocks that Phil Boyer provided-Boyer was as unselfish and a total team player as Ted wasn't.

But Ted could rattle in 20 odd goals a season and usually scored,even if he did little else all game. If Moro (who looks shy and appears to hate the limelight, in the Gunn Club after the QPR game when he was doing sponsor stuff he really,desperately lookedas if he wanted to be somewhere else, but was polite-he had his head down then for most of the time though as well!) scored regularly, or, if he had put that early chance away yesterday and we'd have won, there wouldn't have been so much aggro coming his way post-match-thems the breaks as a striker.

I do wonder if he hasn't found himself as a pro footballer, playing at a high level because he is good at it-yet he doesn't actually like the game that much-after all, not everyone who plays pro football needs to love what they do for a living.

Hence, on somedays, it shows in his performance, especially if there are other things on his mind. Wonder if he'll only really be happy when he's made his money and is playing non-league with his mates again, if at all.
