There was a passage of play in the first half where the Swansley defence had possession in their own half, chased and harried and worried by Simeon Jackson Ooh, Grant Usain Holt, and a supporting cast of warriors/midfielders. Eventually Swansleys defenders realised that Plan A was jiggered so humped the ball 90 yards up to a dwarf in the right channel who didn't get on the end, and Elliott Dreamy Ward cleaned up. You knew all that- it's how we played the game.

But amid all that, the voice over from the spokesape-in-chief was all "Oh this Swansley side never give up on their principles, they always find a pass, they never resort to hopefull long balls into the channels."

You do actually have to watch the game you're talking about, you know.
