bollocks to that,. Much better to save up the cash yourself, earn money off it while you have it and buy summat when you're good and ready.
In the UK though mortgages are dirt cheap compared to almost everywhere else, so it makes sense to buy a lot of the time.
Here though you pay 10-15% rates so a mortgage will end up costing you 2-3 times what they loaned you.
