Thats strong wine strength. 3 pints would be c. 2 bottles of wine.

I remember one new year, the plan was to have a few drinks before we went out, think it was the millenium. I was drinking continental beers ranging in strength from 6% - 8.5/9%%. Didn't have that many and I was wasted, completely gone. Ended up drinking soft drinks in the pubs
