We were poor, but we did start a lot of new players that evening
Ruddy
Ward
Fox
Crofts
Surman
Jackson
So basically more than half the team were new and we were playing at a higher level (as were most of the new signings) than the previous season. It was worrying, but atleast we had the encouraging signs of battling until the end. After the Gillingham game the team looked like they were building a good understanding, one that reallly clicked by November. I was definitely far more worried after Colchester at home!
