some background on howson transfer from waccoe

Before I start I'm not one to spread malicious rumours or to sensationalise events to the n'th degree but being a long-in-the-tooth waccoer I feel it my duty to pass on a conversation I had this morning from an unexpected source.

I'm currently under my GP's care with a long standing back injury, which some waccoers are aware of due to doing it at thursday night football in July last year . After seing her this morning at the surgery I had to make a couple of appointments at reception when I noticed that the receptionists was called Judith Howson. After sorting all my stuff out I asked her if she was any relation to be told that she was his auntie!! Well, how could I resist not asking her about recent events? She told me that her husband had a call from Johnny's dad on Tuesday that the club had called Johnny in to the office (not sure who with or by) and that he had been told that Norwich had made an offer which the club had accepted and that he should get himself down to Norwich with his agent to sort the rest out for himself. She added that he had always said to them that he 100% wanted to stay at the club and be captain when we were promoted. She added that the family were very surprised and disappointed by this as they always thought there would be a positive conclusion.

Like I said, I have nothing to gain from this, just passing my experience on from this morning.
