to join us (position would be untenable) and we wouldn't have offered a fee now and Leeds wouldn't have accepted it would they?

Would not surprise me if he is not really that injured and they have just been keeping him on ice for us ahead of the transfer window. A source I trust told me a while ago that he had contacts at leeds who had told him a player was joining us in January and that the player in question had had an operation in December to get him ready for the move but that leeds had told the fans a cover story for PR purposes. Only thing was he told me it was Snodgrass not Howson!
