when did they last win a european WC? Sweden in the 50s? (Wait to be reminded of a really obvious one here.)

Yes they've got loads of players playing in Europe now. But still think we might be getting a bit carried away with how many good strikers they've got. You need a lot more than that.

Favourites for me are the chermans or the dutch. am actually thinking of putting a few quid on the latter. altho have no idea if I'll get decent odds or not...
