Saw most of his games
home and away back in the day and he will be fondly remembered by those who supported city in the early 70's. Scored some vital goals for us and led the line well particularly in partnership with Jimmy Bone in that great season.
We had legends (for me anyway) like the John Manning/Hugh Curran partnership before them and Super Mac/Phil Boyer after so we had periods in the late 60's and early to mid 70's of being blessed with great forwards.
Wish him well from the old city faithfull. Hope he's keeping fit and well as he must be 65/67ish now.
