So, about Ayala
He has his worst game so far for us today, nothing to panic about because I'm sure he'll put in many good performances in before the end of the season.
However, i had wondered if he would be exposed in terms of his actual tackling soon. Against Fulham attackers ghosted past him with ease on 2 occasions (that I can remember) - one of them being the goal, although Whitbread was more flat footed that time.
Against QPR he was booked for an appaulingly late challenge.
Today there were again a few occasions where he was poor on the deck.
I think he reads the game very well, he's good in the air, and he's usually good with the ball at his feet. He's confident bringing it forwards and he can spot a pass. However, I'm not entirely sure I've seen him actually make a good tackle.
Something to work on and he'll be a great prospect
