This window must be a huge balancing act

On the one hand you have a team playing well, with not just the summer signings playing their part but those that were here beforehand (I think there were eight or nine who were on duty in league 1 playing against Burnley) a fantastic team spirit and a group without a long list of injury worries, apart from a couple at the back.

There is competition for places already and the ability to rotate without serious detriment to the side.

In part, this has been achieved by adopting a transfer policy that selects "young and hungry" players that won't break the balance so whilst you might like to see a couple of fresh faces, who?

Premiership experience to help see us over the line or more young and hungry players who don't necessarily give us any new opitions?

I've yet to see any name suggested that I would be disappointed not to get in this window. Besides, apart from the odd signing here and there, how many sides apart from QPR are really splashing the cash? They didn't get the right people in during the summer but unlike our last foray into the Premiership in 2004, we did.

I'm not too worried about it to be honest and if the Board have put some limits in place then good.
