FAO Otto/Arganth re Thomas-and-Newman

Let me know how the gig goes? I'm booked to see them in Chester in November - the tickets are over there, by the toaster.

I understand that Newman has changed style completely, dropped gag-telling completely, and now does a Thomas-of-about-1998-style routine comprising Socialist Whinging with the odd throwaway line here and there............. top marks, that'll do for me! :o)

Although I have to say that I wouldn't be upset if for old times' sake he reverted just for a bit. I thought he was brilliant - I do like a comic who nudges the boundary of good taste *from the other side*. I've made a DVD from old video which I've labelled "Newman &", because when I transferred it I edited out pretty much everything Baddiel said.
