(didn't it use to be just 8 teams?). Plus I suppose they've expanded the WC quite a bit too.

Still feels like we're much, much less cr@p than we used to be. And I don't really buy the line that we've got much better players than we used to have - I just think they get much more coverage, mostly.

And I still think that Sven generally plays the right players, and in particular brings in new talent more quickly than his predecessors seemed to.

Is he overpaid? 'course he is. But all footballers and football managers are.
