Another thought...

If you don't have a TV with DLNA, then do you have a DVD player, or Blu-ray player, or games console with DLNA because that would work too.

Serviio is cool because it will allow your DLNA device to play just about any format even if the device wasn't designed to play it:

If your DLNA device doesn't have wifi, then you can use homeplugs (they plug into a standard power socket and allow your DLNA device to connect to where you store your files).
