Your the files are ghosted in the background. So they're deleted, but
the file isn't completed gone. You can do it in command line, but that's too complex to go into
Best way to make sure if you want them gone, is to copy all the files onto your pc drive. Once backed up, go to the usb flash drive and format it
Should be as easy as right clicking on the "removeable disc" and going "format".
That will delete everything as it reformats the flash drive. Then you can copy back the files you want on it
Otherwise those images you can't get rid of will be there forever
You could create a junk folder on the flash drive, and put them in there if it irritates you seeing them !
