It was Barton that kicked it all off yesterday because . . .
when QPR were one up, he broke into our penalty box and threw himself to the ground.
He clearly was not touched and was looking to con the ref for the penalty.
A few City players, Holt especially, were annoyed that he was not booked and told the ref what they thought, with obvious arm movements re-diving.
Thus several players targeted Barton and wound him up by hitting him with niggley fouls in harmless areas. He got so wound up that he then 'lost it' with Johnson.
Deserved what he got.
So for Colin to complain about being conned and cheated, he obviously does not mind his team cheating, only other teams.
Gross hipocrisy.
