He went off injured
Pulled up after hitting a long ball. Was holding his thigh/groin which was heavily srapped. Tried to play on for a bit but then went down and had to be subbed. Didn't look good and to be honest judging by the amount of strapping he had on I reckon he probably should not have played in the first place so Worthy will probably not be chuffed.
The very perceptive Eurosport commentators then went on to say they were surprised at the substitution given he is one of their more consistent midfielders but could only assume they wanted to bring on a more defensively minded midfielder completely ignoring the fact he had been hobbling around for 10 minutes and then collapsed before being taken off!
