Just back from the game . . .
Good to see Drury playing so well.
Lappin did enough, he and Drury shored up the left hand side well.
Problem was we looked short of invention and movement although we did keep the ball a bit better.
Good substitutions, quicker passing and more movement, and going three a the back was good.
Thought when we scored it was a good idea to put Bennett at left back and go to four at the back.
Didn't see a Barton head but, just a shove with his chest on Johnson off the ball. Johnson did not go down, just pulled away.
Said to the guy standing next to me after Barton scored that he needed to calm down or he could be in trouble. He was rushing around like a man possessed.
Well deserved 3 points, good day for Lambert's tactics.
