Techie help please...

Ok, well basically the problem is a net related one. I sign online, but when i try to surf the web through IE, Firefox etc, it says it can't find the page, when i open Outlook, i also get an error message saying it can't connect to my service provider, and finally, when i try to sign into msn, it says i am not conected to the net, which i am.

I have run several virus scans, (Spybot, Macafee, Ewido), but to no avail, and i have also tried using Winsock which replaces the original registries, but again, to no avail, will i have to re-format dya reckon, or is there a fix that anyone else has come accross? Cheers
