...I have to say looks eminently doable even though, to be honest, as someone below says, we're currently punching above our weight somewhat.

I think three points tomorrow is realistic and hope he starts Holt and Jackson. Back four...well Ayala had a mare first half yistdy but looked very good second half - he's not had the match time so surely will only improve from here. Zak's one of them - if your glass is half empty he's s**t but my glass is half full and I think he's a real prospect. If we can sign Naughts I'll be wellappy he's clearly good for 5-6 goals a season at our level (and would clear a loan slot), and Norfolk Cafu just gets better and better (though really, Cafu is just the Brazilian Russell Martin). He's done a good job as CB but for me he does his best work at fullback.

I'd love us to sign a proper end-to-end midfielder, or at least someone to play really well just off the back four. Danny Murphy did a great job on Wes yesterday - do we have someone who could do that job on a Wesalike playing against us? I think Surmans is underrated and thought Fox was doing well yesterday before he got subbed off; I think Crofts is better than most NCFC fans do.

Sorry to waffle on so. Bottom line is, yes our current position flatters us but at the end of the day there are ten teams with our total or fewer; some of those are clearly punching below their weight (Sunderland being the obvious example), but some will struggle as much as or even more than we will. So I'm feeling pretty good this first day of 2012.

Oh, and my new year's resolution was to post on the wrath again, even if only from time to time, so sorry, but I'm backish...
