Mind you, I DO think that would have been an amazing forward line for many years had Owen not had his injury problems. He would easily have broken the scoring record. I even think he should be considered sometimes for England duty, perhaps as the 4th striker. Still knows where the goal is and is very experienced at that level.
Shame Joe Cole never really showed the consistency.
Often wonder if the worst moves for England were Owen, and Fowler before him, leaving Liverpool, and Joe Cole leaving West Ham.
