Forward, not back......

At the start of last season, I wanted to see......

1) The team making a decent effort of things. A few debacles aside, we did that.
2) The club in a financially better position. That's clearly true. The current squad is affordable in the Champ and the ground is completed aside from the joint hotel venture, which I believe is not to be financed by the club. The long term revenue is there.
3) The playing squad improved. Some hits, some misses but overall, IMO, an improvement has occurred.

So well done Nigel, Doug, Steve, Michael, Delia, Barry and Michael.

But now, it's time to build for next year and the season after. It was clear that Stuart was past it and that Eddy wasn't going to be good enough in the long term. Crow is a bit more debatable but there are hundreds of players who don't make it. Maybe Crow is one of them.

What I read into it is that we are making room for players to come in and it is clear to me that there is a list of players Worthy, his team and the board want to get it. But to get them in, you need the room to do so. We have that now. So let's wait a few weeks.

I'm guessing 7+ players. Mostly young, mostly on the up. Let's wait and see
